Brad A. Kinnan is an award-winning director, editor and multidisciplinary photographer from Michigan. He cut his teeth in the film industry working on Ryan Gosling's directorial debut Lost River in Detroit before relocating to Los Angeles. He founded the commercial production company DYNMC Creative in 2016 and has worked with a wide array of clientele since then, ranging from automotive companies to record labels. In 2022 he co-founded DYNMC Films, an independent venture focused on developing socially impactful, culturally relevant, and stylistically unique films.

His narrative work includes the science fiction short film Thirst which he produced in collaboration with 20th Century Studios for Hulu’s Bite Size Halloween series with director and friend Stefan Dezil. He’s also directed a slew of acclaimed music videos for FM-84, Jay Diggs, Ollie Wride, Michael Oakley, Parallels, W O L F C L U B and The New Division. His music videos have been shown at film festivals around the world and have been featured on NewRetroWave, Vehlinggo, Popdust and Earmilk.

When he’s not shooting and directing Brad writes and produces sci-fi inspired electronica as SLACKMACHINE.

He lives and works in Los Angeles.
